Alice Lake

People have been paddling here for over a half century. It’s that good. 


Established in 1956, Alice Lake Provincial Park contains four lakes including its namesake as well as Edith, Fawn and Stump lakes. Located 12 kilometres north of Squamish, the 411-hectare park is a family friendly spot perfect for mellow canoeing and stand up paddle boarding that offers stunning views of the nearby towering mountains and surrounding dense forests.

Access: Alice Lake Park is situated off Highway 99, approximately 13km north of Squamish and 71km north of the Lions Gate Bridge in North Vancouver.

Gear and Safety

Due to the presence of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae), swimming in Alice Lake is currently not recommended. Additionally, bear safety is paramount in this area. Always secure all food and garbage when away from your campsite or at night.
