With over 20 beaches, parks, and 3 resorts there are multiple trip options to explore Kelowna from short floats to a full day paddle. Kelowna and the eastern shores of Lake Okanagan offers a diverse and vibrant ecosystem to explore. The lake’s clear waters support various fish species like rainbow trout and kokanee salmon. Keep an eye out for the legendary lake creature, "Ogopogo," rumored to inhabit these waters.

McKinley Beach

The waterfront area is a beautiful location to enjoy the scenery of Okanagan Lake. The park connects to the Rotary Marshes wildlife park where it is not uncommon to see a heron, beavers, or eagles flying over.
