Explore Kelowna
Kelowna is the largest urban area in the BC interior and one of the fastest growing cities in Canada. It’s also a hot spot for cool paddling.
Located on the shores of the 135-kilometre-long Okanagan Lake, Kelowna offers all the amenities of a bustling urban centre but one that is surrounded by rural orchards, vineyards, and Ponderosa Pine forests. The paddling is easy to access and once you’re on the water, it’s easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. For example, the 27-kilometre-long Paddle Trail follows the lake’s shoreline past 20 beaches and parks and two bird sanctuaries. It also passes the downtown core, so you can jump out and grab a latte at any time.
